IDG Benefits Fund is a sister organization to the Independent Drivers Guild. We help New York City's for-hire drivers get access to benefits.

What we do:

Arrange Drivers Benefits, a suite of benefits for New York's Black Car drivers.
Partner with The Black Car Fund to offer vision and telemedicine benefits for Black Car drivers in New York State.
Provide free health insurance enrollment through our partners. Since November 2017, we have worked with navigators and spoken with thousands of drivers offering free enrollment assistance for Medicaid, the Essential Plan, Child Health Plus (CHIP) and Obamacare Plans.
Partner with Memorial Sloane Kettering to provide free blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar screenings. Clinicians work with drivers to manage their health over time through wellness and nutrition education, blood pressure monitoring and clinical referrals for routine preventative care.
Partner with the Independent Drivers Guild to make their benefits available to drivers including affordable legal services, and prescription drug discounts.
